Nouveau Architecture is a company formed by Christopher Westbury and Alicja Stobiecka-Westbury. Chris graduated with a BA (Hons) degree in Architectural Technology from Southampton Solent University and is a Chartered member of the Institute of Architectural Technologists. With over 25yrs in the industry Chris has a wide field of experience especially in the residential market where he has specialised in recent years both in the UK and USA. Prior to setting up Nouveau Architecture Chris was employed as an Associate of an architectural practice where he worked on high end bespoke projects up to 8 million pounds.
Alicja is a part 2 qualified Architectural Assistant from Poland, experienced in public and residential buildings. Alicja’s main interest is in sacred buildings having successfully completed a post graduate course in preservation and conservation of historical and sacred buildings. Her interests extend to the cultural landscape where she has published work and has lectured at the International Seminary and Scientific Conference held in Krakow.
Nouveau Architecture aims to provide high quality design regardless of the project size or budget. The practice is committed to providing buildings, which harmonize with their surroundings utilizing new technology and sustainable building solutions. Our aims include achieving a balance of contemporary architecture with a respect for the historical context. Client satisfaction is very important to us as is attention to detail. At Nouveau Architecture we aim to produce buildings that are well planned and fit for purpose.
As members of the Chartered Institute of Architectural Technologists we are bound by the Institutes code of conduct, which includes having Professional Indemnity Insurance in place. We have also entered into a partnering agreement with the Local Authority Building Control Partner Authority Scheme enabling a consistent interpretation of the Building Regulations.
